Delete Your Account

In the app (immediate)

1. Open the Matchmakers Elite app and sign in.
2. Go to the You tab and open Settings.
3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.

Without the app

Email anna@matchmakerselite.com from the email address you use for the app, with the subject “Delete my account”. We confirm your request and delete your account within 7 days, and email you when it is done.

What is deleted

Your account, profile, photos, voice introduction, questionnaire and application answers, availability, introductions, dates, feedback and your copy of your messages. Stored photo and voice files are removed from storage shortly afterwards. Any introduction or date you were part of is removed, so the other member no longer sees it.

What we keep, and for how long

• Your matchmaker’s copy of your conversation, including voice messages: 3 years after your account ends.
• Safety reports and concerns: 5 years.
• Notes our team wrote, our record of actions on your account and our notification records: 3 years.
• Membership, contract and payment records: at least 3 years after your contract ends.
• Backups are overwritten within 30 days.

Deleting your account does not by itself cancel your membership agreement; contact us about that separately. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
